TRA-USA
The Transitory Registration Agency USA (TRA-USA) is an interim structure that has been setup in June 2010, after the closure of the local ISAN Agency (Secure Path), to offer a continuity of ISAN services, i.e. allocating ISANs and V-ISANs to all audiovisual works whose Registrants are located in USA.
Since then, we have made every effort to setup a new ISAN agency in the USA in order to deliver to US based stakeholders a local service that best fits to local expectations.
The ISAN International Agency (ISAN-IA) is glad to announce the appointment of ARIBSAN US, the new US based ISAN Registration Agency, to assist American registrants in their ISAN operations.
ARIBSAN US is now operational and ready to welcome US based registrants. Consequently the interim agency TRA-USA will be shut down by June 30th 2012.
All clients that have signed an agreement with the TRA-USA are therefore invited to transfer as soon as possible their client account to Aribsan US.

You are already clients of the TRA-USA and wish your account to be transferred to Aribsan US:
To transfer your TRA-USA client account to Aribsan US, please send us your signed Transfer Confirmation Form
(by fax +41 22 545 10 40 or by email to cs@isan.org). Your account transfer will then be effective once the following conditions are fulfilled:
- All ISAN registrations and services processed before the transfer effective date are due to the TRA-USA in accordance to the signed TRA-USA Pricing Guide
- All open invoices due to TRA-USA must be paid before the transfer date as per the TRA-USA Registrant Terms & Conditions – Term and Transfer section – point 6.2
- You have accepted, signed, and returned to ARIBSAN US (and a copy to ISAN-IA) the ARIBSAN US Terms and Conditions and Pricing Guide. The transfer is effective the 1st day of the month following the reception of the transfer request and only definitive once point 2 above is fulfilled.
Your ISAN account transfer from the TRA-USA to another Registration Agency does not cause any costs and Aribsan US will not charge any subscription fee.
Might you not wish to be transferred to ARIBSAN US, be informed that the ISAN Standard allows you to choose any other ISAN Registration Agency that operates internationally.
However be aware that the interim TRA-USA will stop to operate as of June 30th 2012.Therefore, if your account is not transferred by this date it might be inactivated until you select your new Registration Agency.
