The Transitory Registration Agency (TRA) is the Registration Agency managed by ISAN-IA (ISAN International Agency based in Geneva - Switzerland) with the mission of allocating ISANs and V-ISANs (ISAN Versions) to all audiovisual works whose Registrants are located in a country not covered yet by a local Registration Agency (RA).
As soon as a Local Registration Agency is appointed in such a country, the Registrant’s account and all the ISANs belonging to that Registrant’s catalogue will be transferred to the new RA.
If you whish to apply to become an ISAN Registrant and you are not located in a country with an appointed ISAN Registration Agency , you need to download, accept and sign the TRA Terms & Conditions by following this procedure:
Step 1:
Download, accept and sign the Registrant Form, Terms & Conditions and Pricing, and return it by email to Mrs. Valérie Pointet, in charge for new TRA's Registrants, (valerie.pointet@isan.org) or by fax (0041 22 545 10 40).
A 200 CHF one-off pre-payment is required for account registration prior to any ISAN activation. Payment will be possible by credit card or by bank transfer. Then, an ISAN account will be created for your company.
Step 2:
You will recieve your personal login to access the online registration platformas well as a Quick Start Guide to help you with your first registrations.
TRA’s Customer Service will process your application upon reception within opening hours (9:00 am – 6:00 pm Switzerland local time)
Once you get your login you can start registering your works:
Step 3:
Log into the online registration platform, submit the descriptive metadata related to the audiovisual works (title, year of reference, director, participants, …) and, if necessary, their related versions, which you need an ISAN and/or V-ISANs for.
Step 4:
The system delivers the corresponding ISAN codes you need.
