ATSC states that when an ISAN is assigned to a broadcast audiovisual work, it should be used as the content identifier; the ATSC content identifier made of a house number can coexist with the ISAN. Other Latin American countries such as Argentina are experimenting it. In Asia, ATSC has been adopted in some countries, among these South Korea.
